Gracious grand powerful dry red wine. Deep intense cherry colour with almost no evolution in the edge; thick tears. Extremely stocky nose at the start, slowly folding open to a wealth of diversity with dried black roses, ripe blackberries and mulberry, wild mushrooms and earthy minerality. The taste starts just as compact and stocky but opens up very stylishly and distinguished with a texture that fits everything exactly. The tannins offer the foundations for the preserving power of this majestic wine. It asks for matured beef or game with rich sauces; stuffed and braised cabbage vegetables; truffle in puff pastry with goose liver sauce. Absolutely decanted in advance and allowed to breathe for a few hours. Serving temperature: 17°C
