Royal powerful red wine. Striking translucent garnet red colour with multi-coloured tears. Discreet nose that takes time to open, then rich and wide with earthy tones up front and slow-flowering fruitiness of small red berries and dry twigs. Compressed taste start that also asks to breathe here and slowly reveals itself. Characterful and mouth-filling, yet gracefully elegant, with an endless finish. Sublime wine with firm red meat and game, with mushrooms and truffle risotto, with braised winter vegetables and ratatouille. Begs to breathe for several hours in a wide carafe before serving. Serving temperature: 16°C
Enrico Rivetto is a winemaker, basketball fan, and free spirit who lives and works in Lirano, a biodynamic garden in the Langa of Barolo, situated between the hills of Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba. He cultivates vineyards, fruit trees, herbs, and grains, driven by his strong belief in the magical quality of wine, which he sees as a medium for communication and expression.
Enrico is passionate about sharing his new perspective on land cultivation, emphasizing the true beauty and harmony of nature. Lirano is described as a magnetic hill, a place where contrasting natural forces intersect yet remain in balance. Positioned between Alta Langa and the Barolo hills, Lirano spans a ridge between Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba, surrounded by forests and vineyards, nestled between the Alps and the Ligurian Sea.
