Distinguished powerful red wine. Intense deep cherry colour with solid tears. Compact nose of black and red berries, dry twigs, mushrooms and cocoa. Robust flavour and tannins. Graceful and rich mouth-filling. Extends in an extremely long complex finish. Requires complex dishes of red meat and game with rich sauces, grilled vegetables dishes and pasta with black truffles. Till 5 years decant an hour in advance. Serving temperature: 16°C
