Caro Frank, ci siamo conosciuti molti anni fa, forse più di trenta. Abbiamo mangiato assieme a mia moglie e a un tuo amico da noi a
Villa Bucci. Abbiamo bevuto i nostri vini ma abbiamo parlato soprattutto dei nostri comuni interessi per l’arte, l’architettura e la cultura marchigiana dei nostri Castelli di Jesi che dipende dalla vicina Urbino, la città dove è nato il Rinascimento con la ricerca del buon vivere e della bellezza.

Abbiamo ereditato questa cultura della cura artigiana ed è quella che mettiamo nel nostro mestiere di agricoltori e di vignaioli. Spero, o sogno, che questo traspaia bevendo i nostri vini. Un caro saluto da Ampelio

Dear Frank, We met many years ago, perhaps more than thirty. We ate together with my wife and a friend of yours at Villa Bucci. We drank our wines but we talked mainly about our common interests in the art, architecture and culture of the Marche region of our Castles of Jesi which depends on the nearby Urbino, the city where he was born. the Renaissance with the search for good living and beauty.

We have inherited this culture of artisan care and this is what we put into our work as farmers and winemakers. I hope, or dream, that this will transpire while drinking our wines. A warm greeting from Ampelio
